About Ria
I am an 'Outstanding' Kent Grammar School teacher specialising in English Language/Literature and 11+, now offering online tuition UK-wide. I hold a Masters degree (with distinction), having previously earnt a 1st class degree in English & American Literature. I like to challenge my students to the best of their ability and share my specialist knowledge to make my lessons not only academically rigorous, but also interesting.
Having started off teaching students in my local area I now tutor students online from across the UK, from village primaries to the top private schools. I am passionate about giving pupils the best chance of success in their 11+ exams and to secure a place at their first choice secondary school. I have worked with a broad range of abilities from ages 10-18 and specialise in nurturing more able students to reach their potential.
